DESCRIPTION:Sabor a Mexico or Taste of Mexico is a fundraiser for IME Becas Scholarships Program presented by the Portland Art Museum\, the Mexican Consulate and the Mexican Restaurant Association (MERA). It is a wonderful evening of music\, art and the traditional flavors of Mexican Cuisine. It will take place Friday\, August 24th\, 5:30-10pm at the Portland Art Museum in the Evan H. Roberts Memorial Sculpture Mall. IME BECAS SCHOLARSHIPS program benefits Latino organizations and individuals in Oregon\, enabling them to pursue educational opportunities. MERA is a nonprofit organization 501(c)(6) that unites the finest restaurants together to strengthen and promote the cultural heritage of traditional Mexican cuisine.
