Oregon Ducks
The Oregon Ducks are the sports teams of the University of Oregon, located in Eugene, Oregon. The Oregon Ducks are part of the Pacific -12 Conference in the Division 1 of the NCAA and is home to seventeen varsity teams. The most well known Duck team is by far the University of Oregon Ducks Football Team. The Ducks have won 4 and tied once in conference championship play. Additionally the Ducks competed in the 2011 BCS National Championship as well as 3 BCS bowl games since its inception.
The University of Oregon Ducks Basketball Team moved into the new Matthew Knight Arena in 2011. Head coach for the ducks in his second year is Dana Altman. In his first season as Head Coach Altman led the Ducks to just its 12th 20 win season. UO closed the season by winning seven of its last 10 games, including 5-of-6 in the 2011 College Basketball Invitational. Oregon will see a return of six players from last year’s squad.
